Adam Eason

Bournemouth, Dorset

Adam has been in full-time clinical practice as a hypnotherapist since 1996; a lot of his teaching is based upon that real-life experience.

However, his work places a great deal of importance in evidence-based practice and solid scientific principles. With his PhD research, he was  the first person to write a systematic review and meta-analysis of the efficacy of clinical self-hypnosis to feature in a peer-reviewed academic journal. Likewise, he has been the first person to study the application of self-hypnosis to inhibit the Stroop effect, an area of great interest to the field of cognitive neuroscience. His ongoing research continues to examine the efficacy of self-hypnosis to advance cardio-respiratory endurance.

Adam lectures for the Royal Society of Medicine and upon the Bournemouth University Masters degree programme on the subject of hypnosis. He was the keynote speaker at the inaugural UK Hypnosis convention and was the first hypnotherapist to be asked to be on the panel of experts for the TalkHealth online clinics in collaboration with NHS Choices here in the UK, alongside conventional doctors and renowned medical experts.

He was a founder member of the PHN (Professional Hypnotherapy Network) and is Education and Research officer of the organisation today.

Adam is author of several highly regarded books on hypnosis including “The Science of Self-Hypnosis: The Evidence-Based Way To Hypnotise Yourself” and “Hypnosis For Running.” Adam’s online training materials sell globally and he has appeared on primetime TV on both BBC1 and ITV in the UK displaying his work. He broadcasts one of the most highly respected and popular hypnosis podcasts in the world, interviewing experts, pioneers, academics and respected authors and engaging them in friendly, respectful debate.

Take the first step today by scheduling a free consultation. Together with you, I will create a personalised plan for your specific needs and help you embark on a journey of personal growth and empowerment. Invest in yourself and discover the limitless possibilities that await you to achieve the change you desire.

Charlotte Jane Grimaldi Phillips HPD APMG MCIPR MCIM, a Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner (HPD) and a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, and an APMG International Change Management  Practitioner. I called my practice as our lives are about the stories we tell ourselves. For example “I can’t do that”, “I tried that but it didn’t work” “That happened to me and I haven’t got over it”. What is your story hypnotherapy is about rewriting these stories to stories that serve you rather than keeping the stories that hold you back.

Improving your self-esteem, confidence, performance enhancement, pain management. Reducing your anxiety, stress, weight, fear, phobias, trauma, irritable bowel syndrome, IBS, stopping smoking, vaping and a virtual gastric band for weight loss. I work with your inner child where it is relevant and teach you how to do self-hypnosis. I believe in my clients, and I go the extra mile to help you achieve your desired change.

Helping people realise how important their thoughts are to their health, how they can bring about the change they desire and techniques for how they can help themselves.

Trained at the Anglo-European College of Hypnosis for HPD and Advanced Hypnotherapy with Adam Eason.

Contact What is Your Story Hypnotherapy, and let me guide you on your path to self-confidence and self-esteem. You deserve to shine bright and live a life that reflects your true potential.

Dan Regan

Ely, Cambridgeshire

Having been in full-time practice for nearly a decade now, I have helped thousands of people to overcome their problems and achieve their goals. Many of the people I have helped have kindly left written and video reviews that you can take a look at on my website about the results we achieved working together.

My main areas of work are anxiety, confidence, self-esteem and panic attacks (all of which I used to struggle with myself at one time), and as a runner and keen exerciser, I also love helping people with their sports performance goals.

I work from two busy locations in Ely, Cambridgeshire and Newmarket, Suffolk, as well as online. My hypnosis downloads sell globally and I have appeared in both local and national press discussing aspects of hypnotherapy (as well as being published in a book for hypnotherapy professionals writing about anxiety).

It would be great to have a chat with you about how we can work together to help you move forward at a free initial consultation.

Etain McNulty

Belfast, NI

I’m a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist (HPD, Dip.Hyp, NLP Prac) located near the centre of Belfast. I work with clients to help them move away from problems and towards goals and aspirations in their lives. I love the work that I do and consider myself very fortunate to be able to help clients through these life changes.

My approach to Hypnotherapy does not involve delving into your past to find the answer to your current situation. It does not involve extensive analysis or psychoanalysis of the past events in your life in order to understand how you feel now. This does not mean that the past is not relevant because of course it is. The way we have been conditioned throughout our lives informs the way we interpret and react to our lives in the present moment. However, when we repeatedly analyse and mull over past events, especially when these have been traumatic or depressing, what we are essentially doing is rehearsing our problem. Our aim therefore, is to leave past events where they belong, work with what we have in the present and shape the future in a way which best serves us. This is where our personal power lies.

I am  a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, NLP and Mindfulness Practitioner.

I am also an author of the book – 14 Lessons in Happiness- A Guidebook on improving your life.

I am incredibly passionate about helping people to make changes in their lives and to achieve their goals.

Formerly a teacher and a lawyer, I have over 20 years of experience in helping and advising people. I am caring and non judgmental and work over and beyond to help clients achieve their goals. Most treatments consist of 6 sessions, but once they are complete, I do not simply send you on your way. I still remain a guide and constant contact should you need any top up sessions and/or free telephone or email advice at any point in the future.

I work with singers and  conductors to help them be the performer they they know they can be using hypnotherapy. I have worked for over 30 years as an opera and oratorio singer, voice teacher and choral conductor. My Facebook Group Hypnotherapy For Performance has a community of musicians who use the wonders of hypnosis in their performances/rehearsals/auditions. I give weekly “lives” with snippets of hypnosis! My signature offering is a 12 week program called Transform12. In it performers study four areas of performance, the calm performer, the confident performer, the unique performer and the complete performer. I work both online and in my studio in Watford.

The human mind has held my fascination for a number of years and through first hand experience of the power of hypnotherapy, I decided that this was a field that I wanted to become involved in.

I am incredibly passionate about the application of hypnotherapy and believe that it can make a sometimes-dramatic difference to people’s lives, their challenges and their goals. Consequently, my own goal is now to utilise the knowledge I have gained and help people to make the changes that they seek and make their lives awesome.

Furthermore, I am also motivated in making the therapeutic application of hypnosis as well known as possible and see this change to my own career as a starting point on a learning journey towards involvement in research within this field and the further development of its techniques and approaches.

The following is to help you get a better idea of whether I would be a good “fit” for you as a hypnotherapist.

I am based in the Highlands of Scotland, but I work with people from all over the world daily via VSee or Zoom.

Being curious, understanding, compassionate, open and genuinely interested is not something that a university degree or any other course could teach me. Many years of experience in dealing with people, helping to solve issues with and between people, and facilitating and negotiating the best possible solutions and outcomes with people from all walks of life brought me to the decision to make helping people solve their own personal issues on a one to one basis a full time career.

Although I specialise in helping people suffering with misophonia, I also help people with a wide variety of other issues, like stress, anxiety, phobias, IBS, and much more.

My qualifications are ongoing, as I am dedicated to continual learning and development. The field of hypnotherapy and therapy in general is developing almost daily and the best way to stay up to date is by continuously learning.

To date I hold the gold standard Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and NLP Practitioners certificate, obtained through an intensive 10 month course at the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis. I also have a degree in psychology from Stellenbosch University. I am qualified in Sequent Repatterning Therapy (SRT) a method proven to reduce the impact of misophonia for sufferers.

I recently completed a course in the application of Polyvagal Theory to clinical practice, which pertains to navigating the nervous system when applied to issues like anxiety, depression, anger and many more. My current ongoing training is in Coherence Therapy (using memory reconsolidation to bring about transformational change) and Internal Family Systems Therapy.

You can Contact Michael with any questions or to find if I could help you solving your issue.

Philippa Jolley

Mallorca, Spain

I help families find freedom from stress and anxiety, and to overcome the daily challenges and struggles that arise from many anxiety-based issues.

I am a fully qualified, clinical hypnotherapist, CBT, NLP, and mindfulness practitioner, and I have also overcome my own personal family struggles with anxiety and OCD. This means I have plenty of first-hand experience, allowing me to really understand anxiety from all perspectives, not just as an experienced and fully trained practitioner and helping professional, but also as someone who has really been there and lived through it on a very personal level.

I have a firm belief that with guidance and support, we can all unlock our own inner resources, move out of stuck places, and start to enjoy life.

I help my clients feel empowered and enabled to embrace changes and challenges, to be encouraged and fully supported to overcome issues such as G.A.D, phobias, OCD, insomnia and sleep problems, anxious and avoidance-based behaviors, addictions, traumas, excessive worrying or panic attacks, as well as helping and guiding mums as to how they can personally apply powerful techniques, in their own homes, to help their own children and families to overcome their anxiety-based struggles.

I offer English-speaking sessions, where I share my personal one-to-one attention (online or in person), in Mallorca, Spain, and I focus on supporting and guiding each client to unfold their own inner skills, belief, and capabilities, to enable rapid change. All of the techniques I apply are supported by the latest studies in neuroscience and are strategies that are scientifically proven with evidence-based results.

I also offer online programs and audios, such as bedtime hypnotic sleep meditations, designed to use as needed, on a self-help basis, and each audio or program is personally crafted to relieve anxiety or to achieve a very specific and desirable, progressive goal, with each one carefully sprinkled with hypnosis and love.

Sarah Mortimer

I have worked with people to help them manage their stress and anxiety for over 15 years now, and more specifically with hypnosis since 2010. I have trained in a number of different approaches to hypnosis over the years which has given me a really good understanding of the field and has enabled me to choose the approach that most fits my ethos and ensures my clients gain the most benefit. I work to an evidence-based cognitive behavioural model and as such, I use techniques that have been significantly researched by scientists and found to be effective.

I specialise in stress, anxiety, phobias and sleep problems although I see people for other issues too.

I am now one of Bristol’s senior clinicians, having had thousands of hours in clinical practice. I have appeared on BBC Radio Bristol a couple of times talking about various issues that can be helped with hypnotherapy. I also offer online sessions via Skype or Zoom for those who are not able to make it to the clinic.

I hold the gold standard for hypnotherapy qualifications (the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma or HPD) in addition to an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy (Adv. Dip. Hyp.), a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Dip. Hyp.), a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP), an NLP Practitioner Diploma, and a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology.

Sharon Snelgrove

Ferndown, East Dorset

Based in Ferndown, 15 minutes outside of Bournemouth I work as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mind Factor Coach.

I work with many different issues, however my real passion is sport. I have had the privilege of working with several Commonwealth athletes from a range of sports and have links with some top coaches. Helping sports people to understand and manage their mental wellbeing is incredibly rewarding and there is nothing better than hearing about the positive impact it has had on their performance – I love what I do!

Along with hypnotherapy I am also a Sports Massage therapist, offering clients a body and mind package.

Steve Baxter

North Kent, UK

I am a qualified hypnotherapist working from the Strawberry House Clinic in Hayes, Kent and online. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic I am currently offering online sessions only.

I have trained and studied a wide range of approaches to therapy and hypnotherapy and have access to a virtual workshop of tools which I can pick from based on the needs of each individual client.

I worked as a senior tutor at a major UK hypnotherapy school based on the South Coast. I am a founder and current Technical Director of the UK Hypnotherapy Council and thus part of the team that organises and run the annual UK Hypnotherapy Convention.

I specialise in helping people overcome problematic anxiety (including phobias), especially when associated with performance (such as stage fright or exam nerves). My approach focusses on helping my clients get back in control by teaching them. Firstly to understand what their mind is doing and then to retrain it to overcome their issue. I don’t directly ‘fix’ my clients; I teach them how to fix themselves so they are both equipped to deal with their current issue and any future recurrence.  This involves learning some key ideas, principles and techniques and being willing to engage and apply these in a way that makes sense for them.

Tara Foulkes

I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist with a MSc in Developmental Psychology.  I am interested in human behaviour, why we behave the way that we do.

We are not taught about our brains or our mental health in School (yet!), or how to manage these effectively.  We don’t have an appreciation of the impact of what we / others say and how thoughts can affect our behaviour and well-being.

Alloquor means “to speak / to encourage” and I set it up to combine my knowledge and experience and share what I have learned through my own journey and my love of education and research.  I operated a private practice in Clinical Hypnotherapy however, I noticed that the way people access support is changing.  Along with the fact that not everyone can afford one to one support therefore, I have tiered Alloquor towards online high quality research based e-Learning courses and group-work sessions delivered in a variety of settings

Trevor Sambrooks

Performance arts is where I personally buzz.

In this context I’ve helped clients with performance related anxieties (and those which arise as a result of not performing!). Drawing on performance as a resource I have helped clients struggling with a wide range of anxieties, phobias, chronic and neurogenic pain, as well as offering programs to boost creativity and elevate performance focus.
I help my clients discover their own resources and abilities and develop those areas which will bring the rewards and successes they seek.
